Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as a district-level Behavior Support Consultant for the 2026-2027 school year in the La Plata, MD area. You will develop and standardize cohesive behavior programs across schools, guiding implementation with data-driven practices and managing program reviews.

The role includes supervision of behavior specialists and collaboration with social workers and mental health professionals to optimize student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Active BCBA Certification.
• Current Maryland Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) License (or eligibility).
• 5+ years of school-based experience supporting general and/or special education environments.
• Prior supervisory or consultative experience.
• Experience implementing behavior programs across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, standardize, and oversee cohesive behavior programs across schools while analyzing data and guiding the implementation of evidence-based practices.
• Conduct behavioral program reviews, provide consultative support to school leaders, and recommend data-driven interventions to support student success.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to behavior specialists, social workers, and mental health professionals.
• Leverage the individual strengths of the existing multidisciplinary team to foster a collaborative and effective behavioral support network.

Education

Master’s Degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Special Education, or related field
