Job summary

Palmerton Area School District is seeking an Athletic and Activities Director to organize, supervise, and support all interscholastic athletic programs and student activities. You will coordinate schedules, facilities, transportation, personnel, and events, while ensuring compliance with district policies and league requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience preferred.
• Thorough understanding of scholastic athletic programming processes.
• Ability and willingness to work outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Current clearances and medical examinations as required by Pennsylvania law.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and maintain master schedules for district interscholastic athletic programs and activities.
• Coordinate scheduling and use of district facilities for practices, contests, events, and student activities.
• Serve as primary administrative contact for head coaches and activity advisors regarding scheduling, facilities, and events.
• Ensure appropriate transportation is arranged for student-athletes and participants for away events.
• Supervise and evaluate head coaches and activity advisors as assigned.
