Job summary

Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional School District in Massachusetts is seeking a Full-Time 504 Coordinator to ensure district compliance with Section 504 and oversee eligibility decisions for students across the district.

The role reports to the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and requires knowledge of federal, state, and local policies, plus experience with 504 events, documentation, and best practices. Strong communication with parents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, school counseling, social work, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3‑5 years public school experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Section 504, ADA, and privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Federal Compliance for Section 504 including identification, evaluation, and implementation.
• Determine eligibility for students district‑wide.
• Maintain up‑to‑date 504 documents and keep records current.
• Oversee 504 reviews and tri‑year re‑evaluations.
• Collaborate with staff to provide appropriate classroom accommodations.
• Monitor 504 plan implementation and intervene when needed.
