Job summary

Signify is seeking a Distributor Stock Specialist to join the Field Sales Team in the Northeast Region (Baltimore, MD; Richmond, VA; Philadelphia, PA) with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a Signify business unit.

You will drive stock sales with electrical distributors, manage inventory, promotions, and merchandising initiatives. Travel up to 50% is required while collaborating with channel partners and the Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of sales experience and product training preferred.
• Experience with Excel and other analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Achieve stock sales goals within an assigned territory and/or accounts.
• Drive demand and stock sales through distributors with inventory management and promotions.
• Lead sales training initiatives for channel inside and counter sales personnel and key contractors.
• Provide pre- and post-order stock support and coordinate with the District Sales Manager.
• Track progress to meet growth goals across distributor and sales teams.

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Distributor Stock Specialist to join our Field Sales Team in the Northeast Region (Preferred locations - Baltimore, MD, Richmond, VA, and Philadelphia, PA) with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

• Responsible for achieving stock sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or accounts. Take CLS programs and initiatives to our distributor partners and contractors to ensure our message is heard at the branch level.
• Drive demand and stock sales through assigned electrical distributors with inventory management, local and national product promotions, and merchandising account management.
• Lead sales training initiative to increase product knowledge with channel inside and counter sales personnel. This initiative will also include key contractors in the market.
• Provide pre- and post-order stock support and order management in coordination with the Commercial & Industrial District Sales Manager.
• Execute plans incorporating distributor counter and inside personnel, agency and Lighting sales teams; track progress to meet expected growth goals in all coordinated activities.

More about you

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field to understand sales principles and technical product knowledge.
• 1+ years of experience ideally tied to sales and product training
• Experience with Excel and other analytical tools
• Travel – up to 50%

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000

Bonus: Target 35% Sales Incentive bonus
