Job summary

Quad/Graphics is seeking a Distribution Technician (Forklift Operator) for the 3rd shift at our Midwest Commingle Center in Waukesha, WI. The role involves loading/unloading with a forklift, inventory control via PC and RF scanning, and warehousing support for production needs.

Qualified candidates will have good verbal and reading comprehension, teamwork and the ability to work independently. Shift is 12 a.m.–8 a.m with a split schedule; 5 days on, 2 off, interview discussions will finalize

Qualifications

• Good verbal and reading comprehension; able to work in a team or independently
• Average to above-average computer skills and/or forklift experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to work 3rd shift (12 a.m.–8 a.m)
• Will have a split schedule; 5 days on and 2 off per week — discussed in interview

The wage range is $17.50 - $19.00+, depending on experience.

Distribution Technicians are responsible for thefollowing:

• Freight-loading and unloading of finished products and materials from semi-trailers and auto-wrappers using a forklift.
• Inventory control- maintaining accurate inventories with the use of a PC and RF barcode scanning system.
• Warehousing- supplying machines with materials needed

Required Qualifications:

• Good verbal and reading comprehension, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Candidates must haveaverage to above-average computer skills and/or prior forklift experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to work 3rd shift (12 a.m.- 8 a.m)
• Ability to work a split shift; this is not a Mon.- Fri. schedule. You will have 5 scheduled work days and 2 days off per week – options will be discussed during the in-person interview
