JOB MISSION:

Responsible for leading and conducting data-driven problem-solving activities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost. Monitor distribution processes, ensure standard work methods are followed, and assist teams in maintaining distribution flow. Work closely with distribution associates and supervisors to achieve consistent results.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Perform all duties required for the department to meet deadlines.
  2. Conduct process improvement activities using problem-solving tools; present results to peers, groups, and leadership as necessary.
  3. Monitor and audit distribution processes and standard work metrics; notify associates of audit results.
  4. Identify and correct ergonomic and safety concerns.
  5. Respond to operational barriers and bottlenecks; document failures and corrective actions.
  6. Lead team instruction sessions, discussions, and updates; provide training on specialty job skills.
  7. Ensure adherence to company policies; report safety, employee relations, and discipline issues.
  8. Perform distribution associate duties, including picking, packing, shipping, processing returns, organizing shipments, and inventory management.
  9. Inspect shipments for damages, record discrepancies, and notify supervisors.
  10. Reorganize inventory for seasonality; unpack and replenish warehouse shelves.
  11. Identify defective units with proper reason codes; perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Proficiency in English; bilingual preferred.
  • Ability to operate lift equipment up to 40 feet high.
  • Strong knowledge of distribution processes.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; ability to match numbers/letters.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, WMS, and email.
  • Leadership, motivation, problem-solving, and team communication skills.
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years warehouse experience preferred.
  • Dependability and stability in the workplace.
  • Experience with RF scanners or WMS.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours, with bending, reaching, and crouching.
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 12 feet and work at heights up to 20 feet.
