What This Role Will Be Doing

The Distribution Dispatcher oversees warehouse operations, maintains safety procedures, manages equipment, and ensures the accurate and timely distribution of building materials to meet customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Route daily delivery trucks and transfer routes
• Review routes for profitability and efficiency
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Coordinate with carriers and schedule maintenance
• Manage order drops, truck inspections, and fuel verifications
• Audit driver logs, schedule driver health and safety tests
• Assist with customer orders and communicate with management

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple demands and communicate effectively
• Strong safety mindset and leadership skills
• Problem-solving skills and self-motivation
• Flexibility in work schedule
• High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse experience preferred
• ERP experience is a plus but not required
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods
