Job summary

JLG Industries, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a 1st shift Distribution Supervisor in Pennsylvania to lead outbound operations, coordinating LTL, international, CAT and Hazmat shipments while maintaining safety, quality and on-time performance.

You will develop high‑performing teams through coaching, conduct regular check‑ins, manage staffing, and ensure continuous improvement of workflows, dock areas, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with three (3) or more years of manufacturing and distribution experience.
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound department operations for LTL, International, CAT and Hazmat shipments.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of all areas to monitor workflow, assess volume, and ensure operational readiness.
• Review WMS queues, hot lists, Power BI reports, and exception reports to monitor workflow and identify issues.
• Act as a secondary or tertiary quality check behind leads to identify missed or improperly received items.
• Identify hazardous materials or other priority freight and assign appropriately for timely shipment.
• Monitor quality of shipments; initiate corrective actions or case creation as needed.
• Ensure dock, work areas remain organized and consolidated.
• Oversee trailer loading and monitor team performance, resolving workflow bottlenecks promptly.
• Assist team members with tasks when necessary.
• Oversee daily operational metrics and performance goals to ensure overall functional success.
