Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for the Thomasville, NC facility. You will lead a 30+ associate distribution team, drive safety initiatives, and ensure productivity targets are met.

The role collaborates with the Production Manager to align production and distribution efforts. Qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree, experience with WMS and SAP/AS400, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System, SAP or AS/400 preferred.
• Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Broad knowledge of warehousing and product distribution functions (shipping, receiving, inventory, scheduling, customer service).
• Proven track record of leading and motivating a warehouse team.
• Knowledge of sound employee relations practices including coaching and corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment, training and oversight to ensure safety of all personnel; promote safety initiatives with EHS support.
• Plan and schedule efficient use of associates and equipment to meet objectives.
• Coordinate with Production Manager to ensure production and distribution teamwork.
• Monitor performance against standards; conduct evaluations and provide feedback.
• Analyze productivity and recommend process changes for optimum output.
• Hire, train and appraise distribution team members to maintain quality and productivity.
