Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Superintendent in Dalton, GA. The role leads a salaried leadership team and drives safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance across distribution operations.

The candidate will develop workforce plans, coordinate with Sales and Customer Service for demand planning, and ensure documentation and compliance with transportation regulations. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree or HS diploma with supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of distribution experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and related software systems.
• Willingness to travel to regional warehouse locations.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and transportation regulations preferred.

• Drive accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Lead and develop the salaried leadership team.
• Develop workforce plans for staffing and efficiency across the facility.
