Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Services Supervisor to lead daily shop operations in the Dalton, GA area.

You will supervise Lead Mechanics and Parts personnel, coordinate maintenance, and ensure safe, compliant fleet operation in alignment with FMCSA and OSHA standards. The role involves coordinating with EHS, Transportation Risk Management, and outside vendors, utilizing Trimble tools and Workday for corrective actions and timekeeping.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of fleet maintenance, safety, and compliance programs.
• Experience coordinating shop personnel and maintenance scheduling is preferred.
• Familiarity with FMCSA, DOT, OSHA requirements is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Fleet Services operations and lead shop personnel.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections per FMCSA requirements.
• Review repair estimates and manage parts/labor costs with Manager of Fleet Services.
• Lead safety briefings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use Trimble and OEM diagnostic tools to guide repairs and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with EHS, Transportation Risk Management, and vendors.
