Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Distribution Manager in Roseville, MN. The role oversees all phases of distribution, including daily truck routing, driver supervision, and safety/compliance training to meet DOT, OSHA, and FDA requirements.

You will champion efficiency initiatives, coordinate with plant leadership, and ensure accurate order processing and delivery performance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing or distribution with 2+ years in leadership, strong communication, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution operation.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a distribution environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must read and comprehend technical procedures, governmental regulations, MSDS and safety rules.
• Must be able to safely drive a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily truck routing, inter‑branch shuttles and bulk deliveries.
• Supervise drivers and coordinate with Plant Manager and shift leads.
• Provide safety and compliance training to meet DOT, OSHA and FDA requirements.
• Drive distribution efficiency initiatives and route optimization.
• Prepare load sheets, delivery tickets and manifests; review orders for accuracy.
