Distribution Material Handler | 2nd Shift

Compensation

The starting rate is $20.30 per hour, determined by experience. 2nd shift employees receive an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Position Purpose

Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure on-time delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Pulling, distributing, and receiving components for production
• Scanning documents and sorting orders
• Receiving, stocking, and stacking materials
• Unloading trucks and sorting receivables
• Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
• Managing time efficiently with a sense of urgency
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Maintaining safety standards and supporting order fulfillment
• Adhering to SOPs, JHAs, and departmental rules
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Accurate information processing and following procedures
• Familiarity with systems and computer skills
• Ability to move pallets, load trucks, and handle materials safely
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
• Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment
• Demonstrate care, integrity, and safety consciousness
