Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Distribution Coordinator to manage daily warehouse operations, coordinate with customers and carriers, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 3 years in warehouse operations with some leadership, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle shipping documentation and data entry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or coordinator role.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, shipping, and transportation coordination required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn warehouse POS and inventory systems.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a warehouse environment.
• Lean, continuous improvement, or kaizen experience preferred.
• Ability to work hands-on in a warehouse setting while managing administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding order status, shipping updates, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate logistics and communicate with carriers to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Prepare shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels, and international paperwork.
• Perform general warehouse duties such as receiving, cycle counts, packing, and maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Complete computer-based data entry related to shipping, inventory, planning, and KPI tracking.
• Support order quality control processes to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in 5S initiatives, kaizen events, and continuous improvement activities.
• Work closely with warehouse leadership to support daily operational goals.
