Job summary

FountainRx Specialty Pharmacy in Morristown, TN, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee the shipping/receiving area, inventory control, and transportation management. You will lead a team, manage carrier relationships, and ensure compliant, on-time delivery of medications and supplies to patients and providers.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics or supply chain, familiarity with pharmaceutical shipping, DSCSA and USP standards, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations; healthcare distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in logistics and transportation management software and standard office productivity applications.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical shipping requirements, including cold chain management and USP standards, preferred.
• Familiarity with DSCSA compliance preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret operational data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience supervising staff.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound logistics and receiving operations.
• Manage outbound shipping, order fulfillment, and carrier tendering.
• Direct inventory management, cycle counts, accuracy audits, and variance investigations.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and quality across logistics functions.
• Provide leadership to logistics personnel and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular reports on shipping volume, delivery performance, freight cost, inventory accuracy, and carrier performance.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Pharmacy Operations, Patient Services, and other departments to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for all logistics functions.
