Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Connecticut seeks a Pharmacist-In-Charge to lead our LTC-focused operation. You will supervise pharmacists, technicians, and a distribution team, ensuring efficient workflows and strict regulatory compliance across our CT sites.

As Pharmacist-In-Charge, you will maintain licenses, respond to regulatory inquiries, and drive continuous improvement while promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• CT State Board of Pharmacy license required.
• Minimum 5 years of pharmacy practice; long-term care management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years PIC/pharmacy management experience.
• Experience maintaining regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies.
• Experience redesigning and simplifying workflow to improve efficiency.
• Excellent project management, communication, and people skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacists, technicians, and distribution staff.
• Oversee order entry, review, and daily/cycle-fill workflows.
• Monitor regulatory developments and address changes with leadership.
• Educate staff on compliance, recalls, and policy updates.
• Maintain licenses/registrations as required by state.
• Manage controlled substances records and reporting.
• Respond to board communications and regulatory surveys.
