Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Distribution General Manager for the Kapolei, HI location. You will oversee the branch’s employees, processes, and operations with full P&L responsibility, shaping market-specific plans to drive growth and profitability while leading a management team to meet targets.

You will drive strategy across safety, sales, and service, ensure continuous improvement, and build a high-performance culture by staffing, coaching, and developing leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED with 6+ years of experience REQUIRED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Successful track record with leading teams in sales and operations
• Experience in managerial assignments with P&L accountability for sales and operations within distribution

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates effective budgeting, goal-setting, planning, coordination, and execution
• Achieves consistent positive results in Safety, Sales, Operations, and Service
• Communicates branch performance to all associates regularly
• Leads the branch transformation process and a culture of continuous improvement
• Develops and implements a Branch Improvement Plan with SWOT analysis
• Drives organic sales growth through sales planning and market knowledge
• Implements customer and market-based service level agreements
• Builds a high-performance, engaged workforce and staffing plans
• Manages a team of subordinate managers and 15–150 employees per branch
• Establishes career advancement opportunities and succession plans
