The role emphasizes Life Critical Rules, grounding, clearances, and safe-work practices embedded into pre‑job documentation and validated against standards.

Execution readiness and strong collaboration with Field Crews, Dispatch, and Supply Chain are required to resolve constraints and maintain workflow. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years distribution or transmission line experience.
• HS diploma required; higher degree preferred.
• Ability to pass technical capability test or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership & High‑Risk Planning - Anticipates hazards and embeds safety rules into pre‑job docs.
• Standards Compliance, QA/QC & Work Package Validation - Ensures alignment with standards and performs site assessments.
• System Operations Support, Switching Readiness & Outage Planning - Prepares switching packages and outage steps.
• Execution Readiness & Work Enablement - Validates access, permits, logistics, and materials.
• Technical Coaching, Troubleshooting & Field Support - Mentors planners and field personnel.
