Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC is seeking a Field Coordinator - Distribution to oversee safe, efficient execution of distribution construction, maintenance, restoration, and switching activities. You will embed Life Critical Rules, grounding requirements, and safe-work practices into pre-job documentation, and validate switching orders to ensure reliable system operations.

The role requires collaboration with Field Crews, Dispatch, and Supply Chain, along with technical coaching to improve planning

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or related work experience.
• 7+ years of distribution or transmission line experience with demonstrated competency.
• Ability to pass the technical capability test or five years of discipline-specific field experience with SVP approval.
• Knowledge of Life Critical Rules and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates and identifies hazards; embeds Life Critical Rules, grounding, clearances, and Safe Work Practices into pre-job documentation.
• Prepares switching packages, isolation points, and outage steps; coordinates with DOC for safe sequencing.
• Applies knowledge of DACT/OMS to support restoration readiness for routine and emergent events.
• Confirms distribution jobs are fully ready by validating access, environmental needs, permits, logistics, equipment staging, and material availability.
• Coaches planners and field personnel, prepares accurate work plans, and participates in post‑job reviews.
