Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC is seeking a Field Coordinator - Distribution in Baton Rouge to ensure safe, efficient execution of distribution construction, maintenance, restoration, and switching activities. You will embed Life Critical Rules, grounding, and safe-work practices into pre-job documentation and support safe system operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor degree preferred.
• 7+ years of distribution or transmission line experience with advanced Linework skills.
• Pass technical capability test if needed, or have discipline-specific field experience.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership & High‑Risk Planning: anticipate hazards and embed safety rules into pre‑job docs.
• QA/QC & Work Package Validation to prevent discrepancies before field execution.
• System Operations Support: prepare switching packages and outage steps; coordinate with DOC.
• Execution Readiness: validate access, permits, logistics, equipment, and materials.
• Technical coaching: mentor planners and field personnel to improve planning and execution.
