Job summary

Entergy in Grenada, Mississippi is seeking a Field Coordinator - Distribution to ensure safe, efficient execution of distribution construction, maintenance, restoration, and switching activities. You will embed Life Critical Rules, grounding requirements, clearances, and safe-work practices into pre‑job documentation and coordinate with Field Crews, Dispatch, and Supply Chain.

You will prepare switching packages, outage steps, and sequencing plans, support restoration readiness with DOC and OMS

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience.
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
7+ years of distribution or transmission line experience.
Pass a technical capability test or show equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

Safety Leadership & High‑Risk Planning - Anticipates hazards and embeds rules into documentation.
Standards Compliance, QA/QC & Work Package Validation - Ensures alignment and material verification.
System Operations Support, Switching Readiness & Outage Planning - Validates switching and outage steps.
Execution Readiness & Work Enablement - Confirms permits, logistics, equipment, and access.
Technical Coaching & Field Support - Mentors planners and resolves planning challenges.
