Job summary

Entergy in Cleveland, MS is seeking a Field Coordinator - Distribution to ensure safe, high‑quality execution of distribution construction, maintenance, restoration, and switching. You will embed Life Critical Rules and safe-work practices into pre‑job packages and validate work methods to prevent delays.

You will coach planners and crews, coordinate with DOC and Dispatch, and drive continuous improvement in planning quality.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
Demonstrated safety leadership and experience in distribution work.
Strong QA/QC discipline with ability to validate plans and documents.
Proven ability to coordinate across field crews, dispatch, and supply chain.
Experience with switching, outages, and system operating considerations.

Responsibilities

Lead safety leadership and high‑risk planning; embed rules into pre‑job docs and ensure controls before mobilization.
Validate work packages, QA/QC, site assessments, and material verification to prevent rework.
Prepare switching packages and outage steps; coordinate with DOC for safe sequencing.
Confirm execution readiness: permits, environmental needs, logistics, equipment staging.
Coach planners and field personnel; drive continuous improvement in planning and documentation.
