Job summary

Cencora, Inc. in Texas is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead the design, build, and improvement of distribution facilities and processes.

You will manage one or more projects with budgets ranging from under $1MM to over $20MM, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s and PMP are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a project manager, project engineer or related occupation.
• Experience managing automation or construction projects exceeding $5MM per project.
• Experience planning and tracking projects using project management software.
• Experience developing and tracking project costs.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Project Director to develop project charter and requirements.
• Manages vendor selection and vendor management from RFP through design, installation, and final invoicing.
• Oversees onsite build or installation coordination with internal and external partners.
• Manages project budgets and cost tracking.
• Coordinates activities with Project Director and other project teams to ensure alignment.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• Lead or support design, contractor coordination, testing, training and start-up activities.
