Job summary

Cencora, Inc. seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead complex distribution facility projects from charter through completion. Ideal candidate has an engineering background (industrial preferred) and 7+ years in project management with automation/construction experience.

Responsibilities include budget management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with Project Directors and internal teams; travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree and/or PMP certification desired.
• 7+ years of experience as a project manager, project engineer, or related occupation.
• Experience managing automation or construction projects exceeding $5MM per project.
• Experience planning and tracking projects using project management software.
• Experience developing and tracking project costs.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; knowledge of warehouse operations and systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more components of a project from charter to completion.
• Coordinate with Project Director and internal teams to ensure alignment.
• Oversee vendor selection and vendor management from RFP through design and invoicing.
• Manage onsite build or installation coordination with partners.
• Develop and manage project budget and cost tracking.
• Travel up to 50%.
