Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in electric distribution design engineering.
• BS in Engineering from ABET accredited program; related experience may substitute.
• Experience with NESC and design calculations for distribution.
• Ability to travel locally; reliable transportation required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for overhead and underground distribution project teams.
• Supervise design staff and QA/QC efforts for the team.
• Collaborate with other design leads on client issues and schedules.
• Review engineering packages with clients and perform planning tasks.
• Analyze scope and maintain schedule adherence to client priorities.
• Oversee structural, guying, conductor, and voltage calculations.
• Coordinate utilities and develop large design packages in dense urban environments.
• Provide engineering support during construction and post‑construction reviews.
• Develop the team and assist in hiring efforts.
