Georgia Power is seeking an Distribution Engineering Supervisor to lead the Savannah, Statesboro, or Springfield Engineering Team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience with full performance management responsibilities.
• 5+ years of Distribution and/or Transmission experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team in a Safety Excellence environment and promote safe work practices.
• Develop a culture where team members feel included, valued, and able to speak up.
• Provide leadership for planning, engineering, design, and construction of all activities in the area and monitor area-wide budgets and system maintenance.
• Investigate outages and address customer issues; communicate with upper management about customer concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver reliability, value, and cost improvements and participate in SERP events as required.
