Job summary

Leidos in Greenville, SC is seeking a Distribution Engineering Supervisor to lead design teams in electrical distribution projects, ensuring high quality and client satisfaction.

You'll provide technical oversight for overhead/underground distribution, coordinate with utilities, and guide staff through design, QA/QC, and project scheduling. A BS in an engineering field and hands-on NESC experience are required, with leadership responsibilities and favorable travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) from ABET-accredited program.
• Experience with National Electric Safety Code (NESC) required.
• Experience with design engineering for electric distribution.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight, direction, and QA/QC for project teams in distribution design.
• Review engineering design packages with clients and maintain schedule adherence.
• Oversee engineering calculations: pole loading, guying, sag/tension, voltage drop, and fault currents.
• Coordinate with utilities and manage large design packages in dense urban environments.
• Provide engineering support during construction and post-construction reviews.
• Develop the team and assist in hiring efforts.
