Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Distribution Engineer II to lead design, cost estimation, project coordination, and field inspections for electric power distribution across residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

You will drive safe, cost-effective solutions while aligning with NEC/NESC standards. The role emphasizes client engagement, documentation, and continuous development in a dynamic power infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and relevant field experience.
• Experience in distribution design, estimation and project coordination.
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC and distribution standards is preferred.
• EIT/PE license is a plus; willingness to travel 25% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, estimate, and coordinate overhead and underground power distribution projects.
• Lead Capital and O&M projects through all life-cycle phases.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and safety practices.
• Prepare project documentation, reports and technical analyses.
