Job Summary

A Distribution Dispatcher Associate is needed for a world class utility company in the Fort Wayne, IN area. This role is responsible for safely managing and dispatching service operations for the electrical distribution system, ensuring effective restoration and accurate record-keeping.

salary: $27.21 - 33.09 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities

Promote and enforce company Safety and Health programs.
Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Uphold high ethical standards and support corporate compliance.
Operate communication equipment effectively.
Monitor crew locations and active work across the distribution system.
Dispatch service personnel for outages and emergencies.
Authorize the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities.
Maintain accurate outage records.
Keep records of abnormal and defective equipment on the distribution system.

Education

Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology, or
Bachelor's degree in any field, or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
