Our client, a leading energy company, is seeking a Distribution Dispatcher Associate to join their team. As a Distribution Dispatcher Associate, you will be part of the Distribution System team supporting the safe and reliable operation, dispatching, and restoration of facilities for the client's Distribution System. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in critical situations.

Job Title: Distribution Dispatcher Associate

Location: Fort Wayne, IN 46802 Onsite

Pay Range: $33.57/hr

Duration: 12-month contract (potential to convert)

Schedule: Fully Onsite, Rotating Shifts (24/7 Operation), typically 40 hours a week

Responsibilities:

1. Promote and enforce the Company's Safety and Health programs
2. Adhere to written company and department policies and procedures
3. Operate company communication equipment effectively
4. Dispatch service personnel to respond to outages and emergency situations
5. Maintain accurate outage records and records of abnormal and defective equipment for distribution facilities

Qualifications:

1. Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology or Bachelor of Science in any field, or equivalent education and/or experience
2. Rotating shift work required
3. High availability for call-out response
4. Willingness to live within or relocate within 30 minutes of the reporting location
5. Ability to work under pressure during critical system conditions and handle diverse situations simultaneously
