What's your day like?

As a Distribution Coordinator - Warehouse Supervisor, your day-to-day expectations will revolve around ensuring seamless warehouse operations. You will oversee the scheduling and coordination of shipments, ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and loaded safely. Your attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring receiving, inventory levels, assessing stock availability, and managing supplies.

As a Distribution Coordinator, you will oversee the full distribution process, ensuring efficient handling of PVF materials. You'll manage manage a team of Distribution Associates and Delivery Drivers, oversee order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards to maintain top-tier service for our customers.

Requirements For This Distribution Coordinator - Warehouse Supervisor Job

To thrive as a Distribution Coordinator - Warehouse Supervisor at Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc., you will need a blend of skills that drive success. Strong leadership capabilities are essential as you'll be guiding a diverse team, fostering collaboration, and inspiring excellence. Excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed. This is a hands-on position that may require and occasional customer deliveries in one of our 26ft flatbed trucks.

A keen eye for detail will help you maintain accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment processes. Time management and organizational skills are critical, allowing you to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Lastly, a customer-centric mindset will ensure that you consistently strive for service excellence, putting customer needs at the forefront of all operations.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience - High school diploma or GED required; 1+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting required, experience in industrial PVF (pipe, valves, fittings) or commercial plumbing strongly preferred. RF technology experience is also a plus.

Tech-Savvy - Comfortable using computers and warehouse management systems daily.

Valid Driver's License with safe driving record required for operational needs

Location & Physical Requirements - Must live within commuting distance and be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly while performing physical tasks like crouching, kneeling, and balancing.
