Job summary

Watts Water is seeking a DC Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the warehouse and production areas in Spindale, NC, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety compliance. You will supervise 25+ direct reports and drive continuous improvement while aligning with management on schedules and costs.

Qualifications include an associate degree and at least 3 years of supervisory experience; strong data analysis, MS Office proficiency, and knowledge of SAP and Lean practices are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels.
• Solid understanding of supply chain, sales, and financial processes.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and mentor high-performing teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies and safety practices.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Plans layout of warehouse and storage areas considering turnover, size, and weight.
• Advises on care and handling of items; determines methods and equipment for storage and shipping.
• Reviews records for accuracy and compliance; assesses stock levels.
• Manages production and warehouse efficiency to meet schedules and delivery goals.
• Establishes production and quality standards, budgets, and cost metrics.
• Ensures SOPs/Work instructions are followed to improve efficiency.
• Trains and directs employees; delivers coaching or corrective actions as needed.
• Maintains daily management boards to control production and communicate results.
• Tracks KPIs; seeks continual improvements across production and warehouse.
• Collaborates with customers to understand needs and concerns; supports OTIF targets.
