Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Manager of Distribution Center Operations to oversee all DC functions, expediting merchandise through the distribution process and ensuring productive, accurate, and cost-effective operations. The role emphasizes open communication with internal/external customers and vendors and requires leadership to meet daily and future goals.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent supervisory and communication skills with strengths in associate engagement.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to motivate and direct activities of a team.
• Working knowledge of Manhattan WMS to work in conjunction with the Super User.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, service and productivity.
• Select, train, develop and maintain staff to meet daily and future goals.
• Partner with HR to develop management through development planning and performance programs.
• Provide frequent feedback, counsel and advice to team members.
• Hold leadership team members accountable for goals and responsibilities.
• Monitor and track performance to meet and exceed goals.
• Ensure maximum customer service by maintaining high quality standards.
• Establish and maintain operational procedures for all production departments.
