You will lead supervisors and hourly team members, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across the distribution center. This role emphasizes accountability, coaching, and operational excellence in Des Moines, IA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience in distribution center or warehouse operations.
• Experience leading supervisors and large hourly workforces.
• Ability to drive accountability, continuous improvement, and operational consistency across multiple functions.
• Strong communication and coaching skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily inbound and outbound operations, including service levels, performance, inventory integrity, and productivity.
• Lead and support supervisors and hourly team members to promote accountability and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements across DC functions.
• Monitor metrics and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate staffing, labor planning, scheduling, and workload distribution to meet productivity and service goals.
• Manage budget considerations by monitoring expenses, labor, and operating costs in collaboration with leadership.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management as needed.
• Conduct timely performance evaluations and provide ongoing development for supervisors and staff.
• Maintain inventory control processes and ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
