Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensuring safe and efficient movement of merchandise while meeting productivity and service goals.

You will lead, train, and develop a DC team across receiving, stocking, order processing, and shipping; monitor staffing and workflow; ensure compliance with safety standards and DOT regulations; and partner with management to drive continuous improvement and DC performance.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and workflow to meet operational deadlines.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and general materials handling processes.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, routing systems, or AS400 platforms.
• Desired: experience with operational metrics, productivity expectations, and workflow management.
• Desired: supervisory or leadership experience in distribution/warehouse/logistics.
• Desired: completion of O'Reilly supervisor training programs.
• Desired: proficiency in one or more additional languages.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily distribution center operations to ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead, train, schedule, evaluate, and coach distribution center team members.
• Monitor departmental workflow and staffing levels to meet goals.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, safety standards, and DOT regulations if applicable.
• Oversee inbound/outbound merchandise processes to ensure proper receiving and delivery.
• Coordinate with operations manager to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Provide leadership by communicating expectations and addressing growth with team members.
• Conduct team meetings, safety discussions, and on-the-job training.
