Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Manager to lead warehouse operations, safeguard inventory integrity, and optimize order fulfillment and goods movement within the distribution center.

You will implement procedures, supervise staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and partner with customers to maintain high satisfaction while meeting KPI targets and budget goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads operational procedures for verification of shipments and disposition of materials.
• Maintains facility condition and equipment, coordinates repairs and replacements.
• Coordinates with customer service and sales for aligned warehouse activities.
• Partners with customers to ensure high satisfaction and address concerns.
• Oversight of safety, sanitation, maintenance and security standards.
• Monitors KPIs and ensures cost-effective profitability of the DC.
• Oversees staffing, training, coaching and development of employees.
• Handles interviewing, hiring and training of staff.
• Ensures regulatory compliance (CTPAT, ISO, AIB).
• Manages budgets and P&L for the operation.
