Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Maintenance I Technician to perform general and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, structures and grounds at our distribution center.

The role involves repairing equipment, installing electrical components, inspecting systems, and assisting skilled trades with pipe and hydraulic systems while adhering to safety guidelines. A high school diploma is required, with 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years related maintenance experience preferred.
  • MSDS reading and safety regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general repairs on equipment.
  • Install/repair electrical apparatus with supervision.
  • Complete routine maintenance like bulb changes and cleaning.
  • Paint, plaster, carpentry and grounds maintenance tasks.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on material handling systems.
  • Assist skilled personnel with pipe systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
  • Assist with gauges, valves and regulators maintenance.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain documentation for work orders.
