Join to apply for the Distribution Center Loader role at NAPA Auto Parts.

This position is responsible for staging, shrink-wrapping, and loading products by trip and store number as received from the stockroom. It involves preparing palletized loads for shipment, ensuring safe transportation and storage, and assisting with pallet building and product selection for routes.

Responsibilities include:

• Staging products on pallets, shrink-wrapping, and loading onto trucks.
• Inspecting trailers for suitability before loading.
• Ensuring correct parts are loaded onto the correct trucks accurately and efficiently.
• Operating pallet jacks or forklifts as needed.
• Maintaining product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Keeping the work area clean to prevent accidents and facilitate loading.
• Pulling stock orders and assisting with processing other DC shuttles.
• Following all safety procedures and regulations.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Reliable attendance and ability to speak and listen clearly.
• Ability to recognize letters and numbers visually and aurally.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and push/pull up to 300 lbs. with aids.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work on feet for entire shift.

Work Environment: Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is usually moderate.
