Job Description

Balkamp, a leading distributor of automotive aftermarket products in the NAPA Auto Parts system, is seeking a full-time Order Puller. The primary function of this position is to expedite the incoming and outgoing freight including: stocking, pulling, and staging. Shift will be from 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Pulling stock orders, putting away merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, following all safety rules, and other duties assigned by management.
• Performing daily inspections of equipment such as lift gates, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and RF scanners.
• Operating warehouse equipment safely to maintain stock and ensure safety.
• Verifying and completing documentation and reports.
• Adhering to hazardous material regulations and procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.
• Complying with all laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and capable of understanding part numbers quickly. Basic communication and math skills are required, along with a high school diploma or GED. The candidate must be able to:

• Lifting/carrying freight up to 60 pounds.
• Using mechanical aids like hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Standing and walking for the shift.
• Bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, and moving quickly.
• Using warehouse computer and barcode equipment.
• Following instructions and completing training.
• Working independently and in a team.
• Meeting production standards.
