Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Distribution Center leader to run the DC operations in line with company goals. You will provide input on operations, planning, budgeting, and inventory management to the DC Manager and collaborate on strategic and tactical initiatives.

The role emphasizes process improvement, safety enforcement, and staff supervision, including coaching and performance management of the team. A BS/BA in a related field is typically required, with 7+ years in a distribution setting and 3+

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in a distribution center.
BS/BA in a related discipline often required.
May require certification.

Responsibilities

Provides input to DC Manager for operating plans for warehouse and transportation operations.
Identifies resources and contributes to department budgets.
Leads safety compliance and ensures HazMat regulations, security of facility, equipment, and inventory.
Manages performance of Assistant Manager and/or hourly staff; provides coaching and corrective actions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
