Tire Rack is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to lead the Atlanta distribution center, developing a high-performing team and driving operational excellence across safety, productivity, and customer experience. You will own the environment, culture, and results of the facility and report to the Regional Logistics leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution centers, warehouses or logistics.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach and develop employees.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety procedures, and distribution processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and inspire your team by recruiting, training, coaching and developing warehouse staff and supervisors.
• Build a strong leadership team and create growth opportunities for future leaders.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, accountable culture where employees feel valued.
• Establish clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and recognize achievements.
• Lead by example to promote collaboration, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily DC operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment and shipping.
• Own overall performance, safety, organization, and facility condition; implement strategies to improve productivity and service.
• Review reports and forecasts to anticipate staffing needs for peak periods.
• Coordinate transportation schedules and delivery activities for timely distribution.
• Monitor shipments and resolve issues to meet customer expectations.
• Develop and enforce warehouse safety and security procedures; manage equipment maintenance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, maximize resources, and support facility enhancements.
