Job summary

Tireco, Inc. in Purvis, MS is seeking a Distribution Center Lead responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating with management and customers, and maintaining a safe, organized facility.

You will lead team members in daily assignments, coach and train staff, and audit completed work to ensure accuracy. This role requires forklift operation, DOT compliance readiness, and strong math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years warehouse operations experience.
• 2+ years forklift experience.
• Valid standard driver’s license; some states require Class D; no CDL.
• Meet DOT requirements; pass drug test and DOT physical; be 21+; willing to cross state lines.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Job Details: Job Location: Purvis - Purvis, MS 39475, Salary Range: $19.00 - $19.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Day, JOB TITLE: Distribution Center Lead

As a Distribution Center Lead for Tireco Distributors, you will oversee the distribution center, work closely with management, customers, and team members. You will maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, lead team members in daily assignments, and audit completed assignments to ensure accuracy. You will also coach and train team members as necessary to ensure processes, procedures, and safety regulations are being met. Operating equipment such as a forklift will be required to pull orders, replenish stock, load containers, and complete other warehouse duties as needed.
