Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Purvis, MS is seeking a Distribution Center Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations, coordinate with management and customers, and ensure a safe, efficient environment.

You will train staff, audit tasks for accuracy, and operate forklift as needed while meeting DOT and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse operations experience.
• 2+ years forklift experience.
• Valid standard driver's license; some states may require a Class D license - No CDL required.
• DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years old, willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Job Details: Job Location: Purvis - Purvis, MS 39475, Salary Range: $19.00 - $19.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Day, JOB TITLE: Distribution Center Lead

As a Distribution Center Lead for Tireco Distributors, you will oversee the distribution center, work closely with management, customers, and team members. You will maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, lead team members in daily assignments, and audit completed assignments to ensure accuracy. You will also coach and train team members as necessary to ensure processes, procedures, and safety regulations are being met. Operating equipment such as a forklift will be required to pull orders, replenish stock, load containers, and complete other warehouse duties as needed.
