Job summary

Tireco, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Lead in Jacksonville, FL to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team in pulling orders and replenishing stock. The role requires ensuring safety and accuracy while coordinating with management and customers.

You will coach team members, manage workflow, and operate a forklift as part of routine duties to maintain an efficient distribution center.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse operations experience.
• 2+ years forklift experience.
• Possess a valid standard driver's license; some states may require a Class D license - No CDL required.
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years; willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the distribution center operations and lead team members in daily assignments.

As a Distribution Center Lead for Tireco Distributors, you will oversee the distribution center, work closely with management, customers, and team members. You will maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, lead team members in daily assignments, and audit completed assignments to ensure accuracy. You will also coach and train team members as necessary to ensure processes, procedures, and safety regulations are being met. Operating equipment such as a forklift will be required to pull orders, replenish stock, load containers, and complete other warehouse duties as needed.
