Job summary

The Home Depot in Perris, CA is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Manager to lead a functional team in a complex DC. You will partner with the GM/AGM to establish strategies, supervise maintenance, safety, and process improvements, and optimize productivity and cost across the DC.

You will coach and develop associates, manage equipment and facilities, ensure safe operations, and uphold Home Depot standards while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced retail logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Operations/Business or Supply Chain.
• 5 years in a distribution environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the success of assigned functions within a distribution center environment; develops strategies with GM/AGM to maximize productivity and cost efficiency.
• Oversees maintenance of equipment and facility; analyzes trends and solves problems to contribute to DC success.
• Manages safety programs and ensures compliance with safety standards; fosters a culture of safety.
• Coaches, trains, and develops associates; ensures certifications and professional development; maintains a union-free workplace.
