Job summary

Leslie’s in Dallas seeks a Distribution Center Director to lead the distribution center’s overall performance, operations, and strategic direction, including warehouse, transportation, customer service, safety, and team development.

This role partners with senior leadership to set goals, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with company objectives and customer expectations. Strong leadership, budgeting, and process optimization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5–7 years of warehousing, logistics, or distribution operations experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams, driving accountability, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of systems, processes, and procedures for warehouse, transportation, inventory, and admin operations.
• Direct and monitor daily operations to meet productivity, service, safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Coach and develop warehouse and transportation teams; oversee staffing, performance evaluations, and succession planning.
• Establish and maintain service standards for internal and external customers; ensure timely, accurate operational support.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget; monitor expenses and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee equipment, facilities, safety, and security programs to maintain compliance and efficiency.
• Ensure documentation, reporting, and performance metrics are accurate and timely.
• Drive improvements in warehouse management systems and related technology to optimize productivity and visibility.
