Job summary

Leslie’s is seeking a Distribution Center Director to lead the overall performance and strategic direction of the distribution center, overseeing warehouse operations, transportation, customer service, and safety. You will partner with senior leadership to set goals, drive continuous improvement, and develop talent to meet company objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and process improvement skills, with accountability for service levels, cost control, and team development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Five to seven years of progressive warehousing, logistics, distribution, transportation, or supply chain operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of systems, processes, and procedures for efficient warehouse, transportation, inventory, and administrative operations.
• Plan, direct, and monitor daily operations to meet productivity, service, safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Build and develop a high-performing distribution center team through hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Oversee budgeting, labor planning, cost control, and productivity reporting to meet financial goals.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all DC activities.
• Maintain regular communication with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to align objectives.
