Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the Volt-Var Optimization (VVO) program.
• Support integration of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) into distribution systems.
• Provide guidance to Illinois Distribution Control staff and engineering staff.
• Analyze data, outages, SCADA, and distribution automation (DA).
• Consult with stakeholders to drive reliability and performance improvements.
• Oversee turn-key DA projects and contribute to budget-based decisions.
• Develop long-term plans for reliability improvements in Illinois.
• Provide on-call support for software systems in Distribution Control.
