Job description

DTSI is seeking a highly qualified Test Engineer to design and implement software test procedures used to validate software operations against a statement of requirements as directed by a DOD customer.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid testing and deployment of System Support Services using distributed testing environments
• Design, implements and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met
• Develops, maintains and upgrades test scripts and architectures for application products
• Write, implement and report status for system test cases for testing based on system design specifications
• Analyze test cases and provides regular progress reports
• Serves as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications
• Ensures documentation is updated based on the new user requirements
• Evaluates, recommends and implements automated test tools and strategies
• Must be able to successfully design, document and execute test plans and test case
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years software development
• 4+ years' experience with common programming and scripting languages such as Microsoft .NET Framework, JavaScript, Oracle
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent years of experience
• Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) security clearance
• DoD 8140.03, IA Technician Level II certification (Security+)
