Job description

Position Overview:This is a part-time, temporary, hourly position at 29 hours per week, running through the duration of the grant until observations are complete.Role is responsible for ensuring that all Distracted Driving Grant observations comply with internal policies, grantor requirements, and applicable laws or regulations. This position includes data gathering and works closely with program staff to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely grant implementation. The role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of grant-funded projects through data collection and documentation.Job Duties:Conduct data gathering, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Identify areas of risk and recommend corrective actions.Work collaboratively with program teams to implement and improve processes.Document procedures and findings to support transparency and accountabilityQualifications/Experience Required:General education or vocational training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, dependable transportation, and be able to operate a typical motor vehicle.Qualifications/Experience Preferred:Bachelor’s degree preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Excellent organizational skills.Work Conditions:This position involves conducting visual observations of oncoming traffic from outside the individual’s vehicle. Work will take place during daylight hours, in the months of October, November, and December 2026.
